Hi all.
What do you like more? The day or the night?
Personaly i like the day more. The night is too quiet for me.
During the day there are more interesting sounds to listen to. The birds and so many other sounds. I like the Summer because the days are long. During the Winters the nights seam endless.
So what do other people think? Do you like the day or are you a night fun?

I think I like the day best. I think of sleep as one of mother natures' nuisances, though since I don't go to bed until 1 am, I like the hours until one, at least the hours up until one when I have to force myself to go to bed. I'd like to stay up 24 hours a day, but know as much as I'd like it, I can't.

Night I love the fall in temperature, the change in atmosphere, and the overall strangeness of nightime.

I think I prefer night. I love driving at night, and going out at night. I love the feel and the atmosphere and the stars in the sky. There is something enchanting and romantic about night time! And I could quite easily stay awake all night, whereas I'm more sleepy throughout the day!

Very interesting. So far the majority likes the night.
I think in some parts of the world people are lucky because they have the day for 6 months but at the same time they are unlucky for another 6 months.

Hmmmmm, probably day. I'm such a sun-worshipper.

I envy people in California so much. When it's one in the morning here, it's only ten pm, 3 hours earlier, so if they go to bed late like me, they have 3 hours to go still.

Here is another question. Different websites on the internet give sunrise and sunset times. What i don't know is how long after the sunset it takes to get compleetely dark and in the morning when the first light appears before sunrise?
Maybe this is different from country to country, or maybe deppents of the season or the weather.
It would be nice to get repplyes from different countries.
Thanks

well, don't quote me on this, but I think in winter, it starts getting dark around 6 in the evening, and in the summer, we go on day light savings time, and our time is then 1 hour earlier, then it doesn't start getting dark until 9 o clock in the evening.

I like the night time better.

I would have to say that I am a day person, but do like night a lot.

The night has a totally different atmosphere, especially on Friday and Saturday nights in the city. <Br>

I used to absolutely hate night times. I think it started when I could see light and dark and I kept getting these really uncomfortable dizzy feelings or this weird sensation which felt like dizziness but it was in my eyes, when it got dark. Also, I was terrified of total silence. I needed a cassette recorder or music box playing beside me to help me get off to sleep, but for a couple of years, mum made me keep my Phisher Price cassette recorder downstairs on the sideboard in the living room, probably because I'd listen to it all night if I had it upstairs, so that was that. I took control of it though, when I was about seven and mum laid off me and let me have it in my room, probably cause she was sick of the sleepless nights too.

I like either. It doesn't really matter to me because I just sleep when I feel like it. That's going to change, or at least it better. lol

Hi. Thanks for bringing up this topick again.
I don't like total silence in the night so i always have my radio or laptop playing when i go to sleep. I prefeer to listen to speatch instead of music so i listen to documentaries or comedies i recorded from a Cypriot channel which broadcasts online.
